RAIN

Introduction

Where I come from, it rains almost every month. And at each time of the year, they feel completely different.

In spring, everything awakens from winter sleep, there are short warm rains, everything begins to turn green and bloom, in the air there is the aroma of freshness and wet earth.

My Childhood seasons

As a child, I loved the summer rains: because you could get wet, slap puddles in new sandals or rush through puddles on a bicycle and have fun with friends.

Upon the onset of September, autumn rains began, which caused melancholy and boredom, because the weather was cool, the sky could remain gray without a single ray of sunshine for days and weeks, the earth turned into slurry and it remained only to hide from the weather at home.

This weather lasted until November, and when the first frosts came, the rain froze and it began to snow – winter began. Everything grey and wretched became white, fluffy and clean in a few hours of snowfall. Children poured out of houses, built snowmen and fortresses from snow, arranged snowball fights. indescribable sensations!

Indian Mansoon

In India, I have a mixed feeling about the rain: you wait for it with impatience for many months, and when the monsoons come and the rain can pour like from a bucket, without stopping many days and nights in a row, getting out of the house becomes a difficult task, the washed clothes do not dry, because of the high humidity, the heat is felt even more, sweat just rolls incessantly on the skin, absolutely not drying out.. Then again you look forward to it when it’s all finally over.

But there is a unique charm in the monsoons: sit with your loved one on a motorcycle, hug him tightly from behind and go fast, breathing in the freshness of the air and the smell of wet earth! And then stop at a roadside eatery and drink a cup of fragrant, fragrant tea with milk and spices, or better yet, eat a cup of hot boiled corn. Romance yes and only!

Rains can be loved or hated, but it is impossible to treat them indifferently.
